Salmoncam
Thanks to a generous donation from a flyfishing friend, the Salmoncam is back up and running 24/7. We are still developing the graphics, framing and a donate button but wanted to share the link with our friends now. This is a great reason to make a donation to our organization. We hope to expand the Salmoncam program to have a couple wildlife cameras and possibly an underwater camera.
Annual Film Festival
We are happy to bring this great event back to the ARC Pavillion again this year with a whole new lineup of exciting and fun films. There are Currents of Hope in the future that will bring great promise to the lives and habitats of the Spring Run Chinook Salmon on Butte Creek. Join us Nov. 19 or enjoy the Virtual Film Festival online on your favorite device, TV, computer, tablet or phone. Doors open at 5:30 pm and films at 6:30. Great appetizers, beverages and the usual extraordinary Silent Auction.
Valley’s Edge
Valley’s Edge is a proposed land development project covering approximately 1450 acres being designed for approximately 2800 living units in southeast Chico. The development will, unfortunately, drain directly into Butte Creek via the Little Chico Creek flood control bypass which borders the western edge of the development. Get involved, stay involved, write letters to the newspapers, the City Council and get your neighbors fired up.
Fish Flow Forever Fund
We are currently more than half way to our goal! FBC will become one of the first non-profit groups to hold a water right for instream use. Please share this fundraiser far and wide to fish and stream lovers everywhere. Donating as a holiday gift is a great way to celebrate the end of the year.
