This year marks the 20th anniversary of Friends of Butte Creek hosting the Wild & Scenic Film Festival On Tour! Join us for another year of inspirational films. This year’s festival includes two nights of spectacular films (and several guided field trips – coming soon). Each night will feature different films.
Film Nights
Each night features films hand selected from the 2026 Wild & Scenic Film Festival held in Grass Valley and Nevada City. Catch both nights to see all the films selected this year!

- Night Two: ‘Mobilize’ Film Night
- Saturday, 09/26, 6-9 pm at the Paradise Performing Arts Center.
- Come join us for a delightful night of inspiring short films! 120 minutes of short films with compelling stories of hopefulness, adventure, and innovative wildlife and habitat conservation.
- Q&A session with film director Michael Wier, one of the directors of the short film Native to the Klamath.
- We’ll also be having a raffle, silent auction and drinks available for purchase.

Wild & Scenic Guided Field Trips
We will be offering several guided field trips on Friday, 09/25 and Saturday, 09/26 to locations throughout of the Butte Creek Watershed. Purchase tickets to join us on excursions where you’ll get to learn more about the watershed, spring-run Chinook salmon, conservation efforts, and more.
